Wrangell Seafoods, Inc. hires on a seasonal basis, from late February to early November. The Salmon Season is the busiest season, beginning in mid-June and ending in mid-October. Mid-July to early September is usually the height of the Salmon Season. Description Of Work Working on the production line can be a wet, cold environment. Working involves standing in one position for long periods of time, performing the same repetitive motions, working up to 12 hours a day or longer, seven days a week. Staying Through Season It is important that we hire employees who are serious about staying through the season. Our production goes smoother if we don't have to look for employees to fill the empty spots in the middle of the season. Successful employees are those who come prepared!
